Carjacker Who Attacked Driver After Ride Rejection Arrested In White Marsh: Police

The man who attacked a driver who declined giving him a lift and then stole his car in White Marsh has been arrested.

Charles Hoffman, 35, approached the driver asking for a ride around 3:45 p.m. Sunday June 12 on the 5300 block of Nottingridge Road, Baltimore County police said.

Upon being rejected, Hoffman assaulted the victim and fled in their vehicle, according to police. He was arrested the next day.
